Proper Installation of an NH3 Sensor

1. Select a Suitable Installation Location
Install the Ammonia Sensor at a high point or near the gas inlet where ammonia leaks may occur, such as near the exhaust vent above a compressor room or ammonia storage tank, to quickly detect concentration changes.

2. Fixing Method and Protective Measures
Use explosion-proof brackets or stainless steel bolts for fixing, ensuring the sensor body is not affected by vibration; also, install a dustproof and waterproof cover on the sensor housing to prevent interference from environmental factors.

3. Electrical Wiring and Power Supply
Use a junction box conforming to GB 50058 explosion-proof electrical specifications, equipped with a dedicated power supply or UPS, to ensure continuous monitoring and alarm signal transmission even in the event of a power outage.

4. Calibration and Maintenance
Perform on-site calibration after initial installation, and then perform zero-point calibration every 6 months; if drift or slow response is detected, replace the sensor module promptly.
