Armored thermocouples
Armored thermocouples have the advantages of slender body shape, fast thermal response, vibration resistance, long service life, and easy bending. They are widely used in industrial sectors and scientific research fields such as aviation, atomic energy, petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, machinery and power. They are especially suitable for installation in special temperature measurement places with narrow pipelines, bending and requirements for rapid response and miniaturization.
Armored thermocouples are usually composed of main components such as armored thermocouple components, installation and fixing devices, and reference end connection devices.
Wide temperature measurement range, fast response speed, small outer diameter, rapid temperature change response, convenient installation, long service life, good airtightness, and good mechanical strength. Can be used under vibration, low temperature, and high temperature conditions.
Among them, K-type and N-type armored thermocouples have stable performance and meet strong radiation environment conditions such as nuclear power. They are widely used in various nuclear reactors to monitor the temperature of special environments.
The armored thermocouple element is a solid body composed of metal sleeve, insulation material, and thermoelectric electrode. And the thermocouple elements can be made into single branch (two-core), double branch (four-core), and three branch (six-core).
